JBM EDM wire is a brass wire. This wire has a 65:35 Chemical composition and tensile strength in the range of 500-1,030 N/mm2. JBM EDM wire made of Cu, Zn alloyed single-structure allows excellent cost-performance as standard EDM brass wire. The auto threading rate can be raised irrespective of the threading mechanism used- pipe type, water jet type, or anneal cutting type because of high wire straightness. Also, the surface of JBM EDM wire is treated to prevent brass powdering.
